[Remote] Systems Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Holistic Industries is hiring a Systems Engineer to support its technology infrastructure across multiple locations. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure, monitoring performance and security, troubleshooting connectivity and outages, and managing network hardware and security tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, collaborate, and maintain network infrastructure that supports business operations across the organization
• Monitor network performance, traffic, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact users
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and system outages to minimize downtime
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools to help protect company systems and data
• Upgrade network hardware, firmware, and configurations to improve reliability and performance
• Maintain clear network documentation, topology diagrams, and security protocols

Skills

• Strong understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, IPsec, SSL VPN, routing, switching, and network security
• Experience working with routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools
• Advanced Microsoft 365 knowledge and experience supporting business environments in the past 2 years
• Natural problem-solver who can quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field preferred
