- Performance Excellence: Consistently meet or exceed established performance metrics, including claim processing volume, accuracy, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all claims are processed in compliance with HIPAA regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements. Participate in quality assurance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Independent Decision‑Making: Operate autonomously within established guidelines, exercising sound judgment and critical thinking to resolve complex claim scenarios.
- Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—underwriting, fraud, and legal—to resolve ambiguities, share insights, and drive process enhancements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all claim activities in the claims management system, generate reports, and provide insights to management on trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer‑centric approach.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a proven track record of maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to resolve issues independently while escalating appropriately.
