[Remote] Vice President of Global Operations

Valeo Products is hiring a Vice President of Global Operations to oversee operations across its global supply chain and manufacturing footprint. The role focuses on operational excellence, performance and process improvement, and collaboration across teams to support capacity expansion, new product introduction, and global growth.

Responsibilities

• The Vice President of Global Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operations across Valeo’s global supply chain and manufacturing footprint
• This role will drive operational excellence by setting performance standards, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability requirements
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing production and logistics performance, aligning operational plans with business strategy, and leading cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer service levels
• The role will collaborate closely with leadership teams in manufacturing, procurement, sales, finance, and R&D to support capacity expansion, new product introduction, and global market growth
• The Vice President of Global Operations will also mentor regional operations leaders, implement data-driven decision-making, and build a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Skills

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Operations Management and Operational Excellence to lead multi-site manufacturing and drive continuous improvement
• Candidates should possess expertise in Supply Chain Management to manage global sourcing, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Strategic Planning to align operations with long-term business objectives and global expansion goals
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, technology upgrades, and capacity expansion programs
• Extensive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing or related sectors (e.g., metals, automotive, renewable energy) with a track record of managing global operations
• Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making skills and proficiency with ERP and operations management systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and remote teams
• Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Engineering, Operations Management) or equivalent experience in senior operations leadership
