[Remote] Vice President of Operational Excellence

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Obsidian Creek Capital is hiring a Vice President of Operational Excellence to oversee and optimize day-to-day operations across its global private credit platform. The role designs operational frameworks, refines workflows, coordinates cross-functional projects, and aligns operations with strategic growth, risk controls, and performance targets. It also works with investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams to support film and television receivables financing and investor reporting.

Responsibilities

• The 卓越运营副总裁 (Vice President of Excellence in Operations) is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing day-to-day operational activities across the global private credit platform
• This role will design and implement operational frameworks, refine workflows, and ensure consistent service delivery across regions and business units
• The VP will lead operational planning, coordinate cross-functional projects, and align processes with strategic growth objectives, risk controls, and performance targets
• Daily responsibilities include monitoring key operational metrics, managing budgets and resource allocation, supporting client service standards, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement
• The role also involves working closely with investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure that operations effectively support film and television receivables financing and investor reporting

• Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including designing scalable processes, standard operating procedures, and performance measurement frameworks
• Candidates should possess robust P&L Management capabilities, including budgeting, cost control, and financial performance analysis aligned with organizational goals
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on investor and partner relations, responsiveness, and service quality in a global context
• Candidates should possess Strategic Planning skills, including setting operational priorities, supporting long-term growth initiatives, and aligning operations with business strategy
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills, including planning, execution, risk management, and cross-functional coordination for complex, multi-jurisdictional initiatives
• Proven ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams and across multiple time zones and cultures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using data and KPIs to drive decisions and improvements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Relevant academic background in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field
• Extensive experience in senior operations leadership roles within financial services, private credit, or related sectors is highly beneficial
• Additional language skills are an advantage
• Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CFA, MBA) are preferred
