Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Envision Technology Solutions is seeking a Windchill Senior System Consultant to design, implement, upgrade, and optimize Windchill solutions. The role leads Windchill customization and integrations, project execution, technical documentation, and mentorship of junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Define high-level and detailed architecture for Windchill implementations, upgrades, and integrations
- Align Windchill solutions with business goals and industry best practices
- Upgrade planning and execution, including rehearsals on lower environments
- Documenting all steps and preparing a detailed runbook for the production upgrade
- Final execution of the upgrade on the production environment
- Running WinDU, analyzing results, and resolving issues reported during upgrade rehearsals
- Lead development of workflows, object models, and system configurations
- Integrate Windchill with ERP (SAP ECC/S4), MES, CPQ, and CAD platforms
- Oversee end-to-end implementation including configuration, testing, deployment, and optimization
- Manage risk, stakeholder communication, and project governance
- Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to coding and testing standards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture and customizations
Skills
- Experience in CAD worker setup for Windchill environments, including Creo, Office Worker, etc
- Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, including CAD integrations, vault configurations, and cluster setups
- Configuration of SSO and SSL configuration
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, and Windchill modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink)
- Experience with Windchill Bulk Migration, ESI integration, and performance tuning
