Residential & Commercial Comfort Advisor
Overview
As an In Home Comfort Advisor, you’ll meet with customers in their homes to understand their comfort needs and recommend suitable heating, cooling, or related solutions. You’ll guide each conversation from discovery through proposal and close, combining customer service, technical sales, and clear communication. Your impact: By matching customers with solutions that fit their needs, you help them make informed decisions and improve comfort in their homes.
Responsibilities
Generate and qualify leads through prospecting, cold calling, marketing activities, and referrals; manage territory sales and follow-up. Conduct in-home consultations, explain technical options, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales. Build lasting customer relationships through responsive client communication, account management, and thoughtful upselling. Track prospects, customer interactions, pipeline activity, and results in Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales management systems. Review sales activity and territory performance, pursue targets, and coordinate with management, inside sales, and business development teams.
Requirements
Experience in sales, direct sales, outside sales, retail sales, or business-to-business (B2B) sales; technical sales experience or technology sales is an asset. Demonstrated prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, deal closing, and customer relationship-building skills; able to work toward sales targets. Proficiency with CRM systems, including Salesforce, and sales management systems; comfortable using technology to document and analyze activity. Strong customer service, communication, analysis, and territory management skills; able to work independently in a remote sales environment. Experience in sales management, management, or account management is preferred, as is familiarity with inside sales and B2B client development. Pay: $50,100.00 - $150,000.00 per week
