About the Opportunity: The RETENTION ACCOUNT MANAGER, SMB is responsible for partnering with small and medium-sized business owners to help them realize the value of the platform and enhance long-term engagement. This role focuses on reducing customer churn through strategic retention efforts and acts as a trusted advisor to clients. The position directly impacts the stability and growth of merchants by guiding them through challenges and fostering strong client relationships. Responsibilities: Retain a multi-million dollar client base Understand customer needs across various business verticals Implement retention strategies to reduce churn and increase contract adoption Address customer concerns and competitive challenges strategically Provide insights to improve retention processes, including product and operational feedback Collaborate with Sales, Support, Product, and Analytics teams to strengthen retention strategies Requirements: Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales, Account Management, or related fields Proven ability to discover and close retention and growth opportunities Successful pipeline management to meet revenue targets Strong negotiation and financial literacy skills Effective storytelling and vision-setting capabilities Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Passion for and knowledge of technologies serving small and medium-sized businesses Pay Range and Compensation Package: Zone A: $40.98 to $61.48 USD per hour Zone B: $38.12 to $57.18 USD per hour Zone C: $34.86 to $52.30 USD per hour Zone D: $30.77 to $46.15 USD per hour Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
