Our client is a SaaS company seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting and finance operations during an exciting phase of growth. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll oversee the monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Workplace: Primarily remote
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly/quarterly close and prepare GAAP-compliant financials
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain internal controls and accounting policies
- Deliver financial reports and KPI dashboards to leadership
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support pricing, margin, and resource strategies
- Improve systems and processes for scalability and efficiency
Qualifications
- 8+ years of accounting/finance experience; 2-3 years as a Controller preferred
- CPA preferred; public accounting background a plus
- Strong GAAP knowledge, including ASC 606
- Experience in software, SaaS, or recurring-revenue businesses preferred
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
