Salesforce QA Manager
Job Title: Salesforce QA Manager Required Skills: Salesforce Testing, Test Automation, Xray, Jira, playwright Experience: 10–12 years overall QA experience, including relevant Salesforce testing and QA leadership experience Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Manager to lead quality assurance activities for Salesforce applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery through comprehensive testing strategies, test automation, and defect management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce testing, automation frameworks, and hands-on experience with Xray and Jira for test management and defect tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end quality assurance and testing activities for Salesforce implementations, enhancements, integrations, and releases. Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. Manage functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications. Lead and mentor QA engineers, ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices. Utilize Xray for Jira to manage test cases, test execution, test plans, test coverage, and test reporting. Use Jira for defect tracking, prioritization, resolution monitoring, and coordination with development teams. Collaborate with Salesforce developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are testable and adequately covered. Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and custom components. Oversee testing of Salesforce integrations with external applications and APIs. Track QA metrics, defect trends, test coverage, automation progress, and release readiness. Identify risks, improve testing processes, and ensure quality standards are met before production releases. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong experience in Salesforce application testing and quality assurance. Proven experience managing QA teams and leading testing projects. Hands-on experience with Xray and Jira for test management and defect tracking. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Provar, Tricentis Tosca, or equivalent. Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce modules. Experience with functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing. Understanding of Salesforce objects, workflows, flows, profiles, permission sets, and role-based access. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD release processes. Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce-related certifications. Experience with Salesforce Lightning, custom applications, and third-party integrations. Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST-assured. Experience integrating automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines. Experience defining QA KPIs, test automation strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
