Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Salesperson at CarePlus Health Plans. The Salesperson will engage prospective and existing Medicare beneficiaries, explain plan benefits and options, and guide individuals in selecting suitable health plans in alignment with regulatory guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting virtual or phone-based consultations, responding to inquiries, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, participating in outreach campaigns, and meeting established sales and service targets while upholding ethical sales practices and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, identify needs, and present solutions clearly. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms. Basic technology proficiency, including use of CRM tools, video conferencing platforms, and remote work software. Knowledge of or willingness to learn Medicare and health insurance concepts, with attention to regulatory and compliance requirements. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting while meeting performance goals. Previous experience in sales, healthcare, insurance, or a related field is preferred. Relevant state health insurance license (or eligibility to obtain one) may be required depending on role and location. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in business, marketing, or healthcare are a plus.
