Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business One (SAP B1) Technical Consultant with strong Microsoft Azure infrastructure expertise to assess and migrate an existing on-premises SAP Business One environment to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP B1 infrastructure, database administration, cloud migration planning, Azure virtual machines, networking, security, backup and disaster recovery. The consultant will assess the current environment, recommend the appropriate migration approach, and lead the technical migration with minimal business disruption. Required Qualifications & Skills: Proven hands-on experience administering and supporting SAP Business One environments. Demonstrated experience migrating SAP B1 from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, access controls and monitoring. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or SAP HANA databases used by SAP Business One. Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, remote access, networking, DNS, firewalls and security. Experience with database backup, recovery, restoration, migration and performance troubleshooting. Understanding of SAP B1 application architecture, services, client connectivity, licensing and add-ons. Experience planning and executing production migrations with minimal downtime. Knowledge of Azure Backup, disaster recovery, monitoring and business continuity practices. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
