Position: SAP Commerce Cloud Consultant Work Location: Remote Employment Type: ONLY W2 CONTRACT Experience: 8+ Years (Preferred) Job Summary the requirement is for an SAP Customer Portal Integration & Support Consultant who can support day-to-day operations, coordinate with development teams, and help manage SAP-related dependencies for Collins Aerospace's customer portal. Role overview The Collins team is working toward consolidating its customer portals onto a common platform, using SAP Commerce Cloud CCv2. Currently, one resource handles most of the SAP coordination, integration troubleshooting, and project-related activities. Collins wants to add a second resource to share operational responsibilities and free up the existing individual for higher-priority projects. 2. Key responsibilities Area Expectations SAP operational support Investigate SAP-related issues, check order status, initiate or stop orders, and trigger or troubleshoot IDocs Development team support Work with four development teams on SAP dependencies, troubleshooting, and testing Incident management Receive ServiceNow tickets, investigate issues, and coordinate resolution Integration support Understand how SAP Commerce Cloud interacts with SAP backend systems and other applications SAP BTP Support BTP-related integration activities; BTP Integration Suite experience is a significant plus Cross-team coordination Work with SAP functional, technical, Basis, and application teams Project support Participate in requirements discussions, translate business needs into technical activities, and support ongoing portal initiatives 3. Ideal candidate profile Experience: Approximately 8–12 years, although Chris emphasized flexibility for the right candidate. Core capabilities: Strong SAP functional and technical integration understanding, particularly order processing and IDocs. Experience working with SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) and backend SAP integrations. Ability to independently investigate SAP issues and coordinate resolutions. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticket-management systems. Experience collaborating with distributed development and application-support teams. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Desirable: SAP BTP and Integration Suite experience, especially in regulated enterprise environments. 4. Location and working arrangements Preferred location: United States, remote acceptable. Time zone: Eastern or Central preferred; West Coast is less desirable. Reason: Approximately 30+ team members are in India, with six US-based product team members. Morning US hours provide critical overlap with India.
