SAP FICO Consultant

Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant Employment Type: Contract Work Location: 100% Remote Industry Requirement: Food Industry Experience – Mandatory Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) to support financial operations, system enhancements, and ongoing SAP implementation or support activities. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with organizations in the food industry , with an understanding of industry-specific financial processes, cost management, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. The consultant will work closely with finance, accounting, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure the effective functioning and continuous improvement of SAP FICO processes. Required Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant. Proven experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). Mandatory prior experience in the food industry , preferably with food manufacturing, food processing, food distribution, or food and beverage organizations. Experience with product costing, inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and financial reconciliation. Knowledge of integration between SAP FICO and SAP MM, SD, and PP. Experience in SAP configuration, functional troubleshooting, testing, and production support. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams in a remote environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance; SAP ECC experience is also relevant. Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and inventory-related financial processes. Exposure to SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or application support projects.
