SAP Security Architect – SAP RISE Private Cloud

We are seeking an experienced, customer-facing Security Architect to serve as a trusted security advisor for customers operating in SAP RISE Private Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), identity security, vulnerability management, threat detection, and security governance. This role involves working closely with customer security teams, technical stakeholders, and executive leadership to assess security posture, manage risks, and recommend effective security strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary security advisor for customers operating SAP RISE Private Cloud environments. Lead security architecture and operational security discussions with customer security teams, auditors, and executive leadership. Advise on Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) strategies for human and non-human identities. Develop security recommendations for service accounts, machine identities, and privileged access workflows. Assess customer security posture, identify risks, and recommend remediation strategies. Communicate threat detection, security monitoring, and incident response capabilities. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes. Prepare and present executive-level security reports, dashboards, risk assessments, and security reviews. Present security metrics, trends, and recommendations to CISOs, security leadership, and technical stakeholders. Work with cross-functional teams to strengthen security governance and operational excellence. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, security architecture, or security consulting. Strong hands-on expertise in Privileged Access Management (PAM) and identity security. Experience managing privileged access for human and machine identities. Knowledge of vulnerability management, risk assessment, and remediation processes. Experience with SIEM, security monitoring, alerting, threat detection, and incident response. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and enterprise infrastructure security. Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to prepare and present security reports and risk assessments to technical and executive audiences. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting SAP environments, ERP platforms, or managed cloud services. Understanding of RISE with SAP, private cloud operations, and SaaS/IaaS security models. Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or equivalent. Experience engaging with CISOs, security architects, auditors, and executive leadership teams.
