Optum Specialty Fusion Engine is a specialty drug benefit recommendation engine that optimizes benefit and lowers overall cost Please describe the team the candidate will be working with - how many members? 20 What is the break-down of the teams skill sets (ex: 1 PM 4 Developers etc.)? 14 engineers, 2 quality engineers, 4 analysts, 1 scrum master (this position) What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)? Facilitates daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP Familiar with SAFe and PI concepts Manages backlogs with assistance from the product owner Resolves conflicts by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect Is a friendly communicative person Expert in estimation and planning Serve as a coach for the team, and manage processes and tools Ability to track and remove impediments Is familiar with using Rally and Aha Ability to manage to achieve the agile metrics thresholds What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.) Experience: 2 years required
