Our mission is simple yet powerful: to bridge the gap between those in need and the services that can change their lives. Every call you answer, every conversation you guide, and every piece of data you record brings us one step closer to that goal.

Why This Role Matters

In times of crisis—whether it’s a sudden eviction, a natural disaster, or a personal emergency—Spanish‑speaking families often face language barriers that can delay or prevent them from accessing critical shelter services. As a Remote Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Champion, you become the first line of support, the voice of hope, and the catalyst that turns uncertainty into action.

Your work directly impacts the well‑being of families, ensuring they receive the help they need when they need it most. By providing compassionate, accurate, and timely assistance, you help families regain stability, safety, and a sense of dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the first and most trusted point of contact for Spanish‑speaking callers, offering clear, empathetic assistance and guiding them through the process of accessing emergency shelter and related services.
  • Data Integrity: Accurately document all interactions in our CRM system, ensuring data integrity, compliance with privacy regulations, and a seamless handoff to case managers.
  • Multitasking Excellence: Navigate multiple web‑based platforms simultaneously, using dual monitors to streamline workflow and maintain high productivity during peak call volumes.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—case managers, housing specialists, IT support—to resolve complex client needs and continuously improve service delivery.
  • Reliability: Maintain a 100% attendance record for all scheduled orientation and training sessions, demonstrating reliability and commitment to the role.
  • Technical Standards: Adhere to strict technical standards, ensuring your workstation meets or exceeds the specified hardware and connectivity requirements.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions to stay current on best practices, new resources, and policy updates.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on system usability, workflow bottlenecks, and customer experience enhancements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 1 year of call center or customer service experience, preferably in a bilingual environment.
  • High‑Volume Call Management: Proven ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Remote Work Experience: Experience working remotely, including setting up a dedicated workspace and managing time effectively.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable navigating multiple software applications, troubleshooting basic connectivity issues, and using dual‑monitor setups.
  • Reliability: Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to maintain 100% attendance for all required training and orientation sessions.
  • Availability: Open availability, including weekends and holidays, to support clients during peak times.

Preferred Qualifications
