Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting & Policy

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions and reporting are in accordance with the applicable accounting standards and company policies. Provide technical expertise: The Senior Accountant will be expected to possess a strong understanding of technical accounting principles and use this knowledge to advise and support business decisions. Monitor and analyze financial data: The individual in this role will be responsible for analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks. This will involve performing complex financial analysis and providing recommendations to management. Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations: The Senior Accountant will be expected to stay current with changes in accounting regulations and standards, and ensure that the company's accounting procedures are in compliance. Prepare and review financial statements: The individual in this role will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Senior Accountant will work closely with other departments and teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and provide support for business initiatives and projects. Train and mentor junior accounting staff: The individual in this role may be responsible for training and mentoring junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
