Job Title: Senior Appian Developer / Technical Lead Location: US remote Duration: Long term Contract Experience: 10+ Years JD- Experience: 8–12 years Primary Skills: Appian, Appian AI, Document Center / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), SAIL, Process Models, Records, Integrations Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Appian Developer / Technical Lead with strong hands-on Appian development experience and practical expertise in Appian AI and Document Center / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). The candidate should have experience designing and developing enterprise Appian applications, including document-processing workflows covering document ingestion, classification, data extraction, human validation, exception handling, and workflow integration. Must-Have Skills 8–12 years of overall IT experience with strong Appian development experience. Strong hands-on experience with SAIL, Process Models, Records, Expression Rules, Interfaces, and integrations. Hands-on Appian AI experience. Hands-on Appian Document Center / IDP experience. Experience with document ingestion, classification, data extraction, and human validation workflows. Strong REST API and enterprise integration experience. Experience providing technical leadership, solution/design guidance, and code reviews. Preferred Skills Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer. Data Fabric / Data Sync and Connected Systems. Oracle, SQL Server, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL. CI/CD / Azure DevOps. GenAI, OCR, RPA, or broader intelligent automation experience. Insurance, financial services, life sciences, or other document-intensive industry experience.
