About brighthush

At brighthush, we are on a mission to transform every building into an intelligent, data‑rich ecosystem that adapts to its occupants and the environment. By fusing cutting‑edge Operational AI with the physical realities of HVAC, lighting, security, and energy systems, we turn legacy infrastructures into proactive, predictive platforms that deliver measurable financial savings, operational efficiencies, and sustainability gains across campuses, data centers, hospitals, and mixed‑use developments.

Our vision is simple yet ambitious: make every building smarter, more sustainable, and more responsive to the people who inhabit it. If you thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment and want to shape the future of building technology, brighthush is the place to be.

Role Overview

As a Senior Building Management System Coordinator, you will be the linchpin that connects our Digital Twin platform to real‑world deployments. You will collaborate closely with project leads, cross‑functional teams, and our Customer Engineering (CE) department to orchestrate complex, multi‑disciplinary projects that bring our AI‑powered solutions to life for our customers.

This is an individual contributor role that demands a blend of technical acumen, project coordination, and clear communication. You will be the go‑to person for ensuring deployments run smoothly, stakeholders stay informed, and product enhancements are driven by real‑world feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Twin Creation & Deployment – Lead the end‑to‑end setup of Digital Twins for clients, managing live deployment projects from kickoff to go‑live. Ensure accurate representation of building assets, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot integration issues.
  • Data Validation & System Knowledge – Apply deep knowledge of HVAC, BMS, electrical, and mechanical systems to process, validate, and enrich data streams. Identify gaps, recommend data collection strategies, and collaborate with field teams to capture missing information.
  • 3D Modeling & BIM Integration – Work with Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD, and other BIM tools to interpret building layouts, support accurate Digital Twin creation, and identify data gaps. Translate architectural and engineering drawings into actionable digital models.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with engineering, product, and integration teams to align system integrations, resolve technical challenges, and ensure seamless delivery. Act as the bridge between field operations and the development pipeline.
  • AI‑Driven Efficiency – Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, GPT‑based assistants) to accelerate data processing, documentation, and problem‑solving. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to our deployment workflows.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Provide daily updates to the Team Leader on progress, risks, blockers, and deliverable status. Maintain transparent communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep everyone aligned.
  • Product Feedback Loop – Engage with brighthush’s Product and Engineering teams to surface customer insights, propose feature enhancements, and influence the roadmap. Translate field observations into actionable product requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify process bottlenecks, propose automation opportunities, and champion best practices across the deployment lifecycle.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in MEP/building services engineering, Building Automation Services, or project/program coordination, preferably within a SaaS or technology‑enabled services context.
  • Strong MEP engineering foundation (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) with a focus on control and monitoring in the built environment.
  • Proficient understanding of HVAC controls, BMS, lighting controls, energy metering, IT/OT/IoT devices, and access control/security technologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with 3D modeling/BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or ArchiCAD.
  • Comfortable learning and applying AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity.
