JW Zepeda Law Firm is looking for a Senior Civil Litigation Attorney with meaningful personal injury experience. We need someone who can manage PI and other civil-litigation matters from intake through settlement or trial, including discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trial preparation. This is a primarily remote position, but you must be online, available, and responsive during working hours. You must also be willing to travel throughout Texas when your cases require it. Work from home in a suit, jeans, or pajama pants, we do not care. We care that you are responsive, producing strong work, meeting deadlines, and consistently moving your cases forward. What You Get $150,000 annual base salary Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off Primarily remote work An established firm with cases ready to be worked A team of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff behind you Support with document preparation, scheduling, billing, and other administrative responsibilities Direct access to firm leadership when you need guidance or decisions The freedom to take ownership of your cases without being left to handle everything alone Approved case-related travel expenses paid by the firm Up to a 10% contingency-fee split on qualifying cases Up to a 20% contingency-fee split when you originate and handle a qualifying case Opportunities for increased responsibility and growth as the firm expands No portable book of business required What We Need From You Active Texas law license in good standing Approximately six years of litigation experience Meaningful personal injury and civil-litigation experience Experience handling discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation Ability to manage a docket and move cases forward without constant supervision Strong legal writing, communication, negotiation, and case-management skills Willingness to travel within Texas when necessary Accountability, responsiveness, and good professional judgment First-chair or second-chair trial experience and bilingual English/Spanish skills are helpful but not required.
