Key Responsibilities

• End‑to‑End Solution Design – Own the full lifecycle of chatbot development, from concept to production, on the brighthush platform. Translate business goals into scalable, maintainable code.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with product managers, UX designers, data scientists, and QA engineers to create intuitive, high‑quality conversational experiences.
• Clean, Modern Code – Write and review JavaScript (ES6+), Python, or Java, adhering to best practices in version control, testing, and documentation.
• NLP Pipeline Engineering – Build and optimize real‑time NLP pipelines that leverage large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, and context‑aware response generation.
• Quality Assurance & Reliability – Design unit, integration, and performance tests; conduct code reviews; troubleshoot production incidents to maintain uptime and reliability.
• Reusable Component Library – Create modular chatbot components, SDKs, and templates that accelerate future projects and reduce duplication.
• Agile Participation – Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives, providing technical insights and risk assessments.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing – Guide junior developers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience building and deploying NLP systems, including LLM‑based or generative AI solutions.
• At least 3 years of full‑stack software development experience, with a strong focus on real‑time, event‑driven architectures.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (5+ years) and familiarity with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Express.
• Hands‑on experience with chatbot platforms, preferably the brighthush ecosystem or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of voice, chat, and multi‑channel integration (VoIP, IVR, ACD, SMS, Email).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with brighthush CXone, brighthush Studio, or similar contact center platforms.
• Background in data science or ML engineering, including experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
• Knowledge of security best practices for AI and data privacy (GDPR, CCPA).
• Prior exposure to agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Certifications in AI, NLP, or cloud platforms.
