As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a visionary Customer Experience Operations Manager who can shape the future of our customer success and go‑to‑market (GTM) operations.
Why brighthush?
At brighthush, you’ll be part of a high‑impact, mission‑driven team that is redefining how teachers interact with technology. We blend a startup mentality with the resources of a rapidly growing company, giving you the freedom to experiment, the support to execute, and the platform to leave a lasting legacy. Here’s what makes us unique:
- Impactful AI – Your work will directly influence the daily workflows of millions of teachers, improving learning outcomes for countless students.
- Mission‑Driven Culture – We are passionate about equity, innovation, and the empowerment of educators. Every project is guided by our core values.
- Remote‑First Flexibility – Work from anywhere in the United States with a fully supported home‑office setup.
- Growth & Learning – We invest heavily in professional development, mentorship, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Competitive Compensation – A generous salary range, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package that supports your well‑being.
Key Responsibilities
As the Customer Experience Operations Manager, you will be the linchpin between our product, sales, support, and engineering teams. Your day‑to‑day tasks will include:
- Translating evolving business needs into actionable, prioritized workflows and scalable system improvements.
- Identifying, prototyping, and deploying AI‑assisted workflows—such as call summarization, account health signals, renewal risk flags, and ticket triage—to enhance customer engagement.
- Evaluating and recommending AI features across our GTM stack (Salesforce Agentforce/Einstein, Gong, Intercom, etc.) and determining optimal adoption strategies.
- Serving as the first line of defense for Salesforce and GTM system support—troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues independently.
- Writing and maintaining prompts, agent instructions, and reusable templates that empower the team to scale AI solutions.
- Building and maintaining Salesforce flows, automations, and reporting dashboards while documenting processes and ensuring a single source of truth.
- Leading cross‑functional projects by defining scope, aligning stakeholders, and ruthlessly prioritizing initiatives to maximize impact.
- Ensuring CX systems and reporting are intuitive, reliable, and user‑centric, with a bias toward clarity and standardization.
Essential Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- 2–4 years of experience in customer experience, revenue operations, or GTM operations—ideally within a SaaS environment.
- Proven expertise administering and building in Salesforce (flows, automations, reporting).
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to translate business problems into system solutions.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and basic SQL; comfort learning additional GTM tools.
- Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, balancing trade‑offs, and staying focused on impact.
- Ability to document, standardize, and scale processes with excellent time management and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable pushing back on stakeholders and building consensus to ensure the right problems are solved.
- Hands‑on experience using LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) to solve real operational problems, not just casual use.
- Comfort with prompt design and evaluating output quality.
- Familiarity with automation and integration tools (N8N, Zapier, MCP connectors).
- Judgment about when AI is the right tool and when a deterministic flow is better.
Preferred Qualifications
These additional experiences will set you apart:
- Familiarity with CX‑enablement platforms such as Gong, Chili Piper, Skilljar, Intercom, or similar.
- Experience supporting Product‑Led Growth (PLG) teams or strategies.
- Background in high‑growth, startup‑like environments where agility and prioritization are critical.
Skills & Competencies
Success in this role requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and interpersonal finesse:
- Technical Proficiency – Salesforce administration, automation tools, SQL, Google Sheets, and LLM prompt engineering.
- Analytical Mindset – Ability to dissect complex processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose data‑driven solutions.
- Project Leadership – Proven track record of steering cross‑functional initiatives to completion.
- Communication – Clear, concise, and persuasive communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability – Thrive in a fast‑moving environment, pivoting priorities as business needs evolve.
- Customer‑Centricity – Deep empathy for educators and a passion for improving their experience with our platform.

At brighthush, we believe in nurturing talent and unlocking potential. As a Customer Experience Operations Manager, you will:

- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and sales leaders, gaining exposure to all facets of the business.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of internal training programs.
- Participate in strategic initiatives such as AI roadmap planning, platform scaling, and global expansion.
- Access to continuous learning resources—online courses, industry conferences, and internal knowledge hubs.
Work Environment & Company Culture
Our culture is built on trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to excellence. You’ll experience:
- A remote‑first environment that values results over hours spent in the office.
- Weekly “All‑Hands” meetings where leadership shares company updates and celebrates wins.
- Monthly “Innovation Labs” where teams prototype new ideas and experiment with emerging technologies.
- A culture of continuous feedback—both giving and receiving—to foster growth.
- Regular virtual social events, book clubs, and community service initiatives that strengthen bonds across locations.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive package designed to support your professional and personal life:
- Salary – $90,000–$120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
- Equity – Generous stock options vested over four years, giving you a stake in our success.
