Our distributed workforce thrives on collaboration, continuous learning, and an uncompromising commitment to quality—values that resonate with every member of our team, whether they’re in Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, or any other location across the EMEA region.

Why This Role Matters

As a Senior Customer Quality Lead, you will be the linchpin that connects engineering excellence with customer satisfaction. Your decisions will directly influence the safety, reliability, and performance of the next generation of automotive components. Operating remotely across EMEA, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of a modern, distributed workforce while playing a pivotal role in projects that shape the future of automotive manufacturing. Your work will help brighthush maintain its reputation as a trusted partner for Tier‑1 suppliers and OEMs worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Quality Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the end‑to‑end quality journey for assigned customers—from capturing initial requirements to ensuring flawless delivery. Define quality objectives, establish acceptance criteria, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement Champion: Drive cross‑functional initiatives using APQP, MSA, FMEA, and ASPICE frameworks to eliminate defects, shorten cycle times, and elevate product quality. Own the improvement backlog, prioritize actions, and track progress through data‑driven dashboards.
  • Audit & Compliance Steward: Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory and customer expectations. Act as the primary liaison for audit findings, develop corrective action plans, and monitor implementation.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Maker: Analyze quality metrics, trend data, and root‑cause investigations to provide actionable insights to engineering and production teams. Translate complex data sets into clear, concise recommendations that drive measurable improvements.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries, coordinating with suppliers, manufacturing, and R&D to resolve issues swiftly. Build strong relationships with key accounts and maintain a proactive communication cadence.
  • On‑Site Engagement: Travel 50–75% within EMEA to conduct on‑site audits, workshops, and quality reviews, fostering strong relationships with key accounts and gaining firsthand insight into manufacturing environments.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Transfer: Coach junior quality team members and share best practices across the organization. Facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions, create training materials, and champion a culture of continuous learning.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long‑term quality strategies and roadmaps aligned with brighthush’s business objectives. Translate market trends and customer feedback into actionable quality initiatives.
