About brighthush
brighthush is a trailblazing, cloud‑native, AI‑powered operating system that is redefining how manufacturing shops operate. Since our launch in 2020, we have engineered a single, unified platform that spans the entire quote‑to‑cash lifecycle: from RFQs and sales orders to job scheduling, routing, bills of materials, purchasing, inventory, shop‑floor execution, shipping, and invoicing. Our solution delivers real‑time visibility, end‑to‑end traceability, and intelligent automation that empowers manufacturers of all sizes—from small CNC shops to mid‑size fabricators—to make faster, data‑driven decisions and unlock new levels of productivity.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, brighthush serves a diverse portfolio of customers, including precision CNC shops, Swiss machine shops, and fabricators with 20–300 employees. We are also expanding into the aerospace and defense sector, offering an ITAR‑ready deployment on the brighthush GovCloud platform. Our mission is simple: replace legacy on‑prem systems with a modern, scalable, and AI‑enhanced platform that drives profitability, reduces waste, and accelerates digital transformation across the manufacturing ecosystem.
Why brighthush is the Place to Grow Your Career
At brighthush, you’ll join a fast‑growing, mission‑driven team that is reshaping the future of manufacturing. We value curiosity, ownership, and a relentless passion for continuous improvement. Our culture is built on transparency, collaboration, and a laser focus on customer success. Whether you’re a seasoned engineer or a recent graduate, you’ll find abundant opportunities to learn, grow, and make a tangible impact on the industry.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Customer Success Engineer—a hybrid of trainer, process consultant, and technical problem‑solver—to lead the onboarding and ongoing adoption of our manufacturing customers. In this role, you will translate a shop’s physical processes into digital workflows, ensuring that every stakeholder—from owners to operators—understands and embraces the platform. You will own a book of accounts, drive adoption across modules, and act as the technical advocate for our AI‑powered features.
Key Responsibilities
- End‑to‑End Onboarding – Lead kickoff meetings, process mapping workshops, data migration from legacy systems (Excel, legacy ERP, spreadsheets), configuration, and go‑live support.
- Training & Enablement – Deliver engaging training sessions to diverse teams (owners, planners, buyers, material handlers, operators). Translate complex concepts like lead time and work‑in‑progress into plain language that resonates with non‑technical audiences.
- Gap Analysis & Customization – Allocate roughly 60% of your time to training and 40% to closing gaps. Identify mismatches between customer workflows and platform capabilities, then bridge them with custom reports, pages, imports, or process improvements.
- Relationship Management – Maintain ongoing relationships through regular check‑ins, office hours, quarterly business reviews, and in‑app support chat. Drive adoption module by module (sales, engineering, procurement, shop floor).
- AI Advocacy – Champion the value of our AI assistant. Help skeptical manufacturers see AI as a tool, not a threat, and guide them in leveraging AI to streamline operations.
- Product Feedback Loop – Distinguish between one‑off fixes and genuine product gaps. Document feature requests and bugs clearly so product and engineering teams can act swiftly.
- On‑Site Support – Respond to occasional “code red” situations, including traveling to customer sites to provide on‑the‑ground support and represent brighthush’s product vision.
Essential Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence that earn trust on the shop floor and in the owner’s office.
- Rapid learning ability and storytelling talent—our interview process includes a sandbox demo to showcase your understanding of the platform.
- Process‑oriented mindset: ability to observe, map, and identify inefficiencies in real‑world manufacturing workflows.
- 3+ years in a customer‑facing technical role (customer success, implementation, solutions or sales engineering, technical support) or hands‑on manufacturing/operations experience.
- Daily use of AI tools (Claude, Claude Code, or similar) and experience ensuring reliability in AI‑generated solutions.
- Comfortable working with data—CSV imports, nested bills of materials, exports—and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
- Self‑managed remote work ethic, calendar discipline across multiple accounts, and composure under pressure.
- US work authorization required; remote work from the US with 10–20% travel to customer sites.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Manufacturing background—industrial or quality engineering, production planning, purchasing, or inventory/warehouse operations.
- Experience implementing or administering ERP/MES systems (brighthush, brighthush, brighthush, brighthush, brighthush, brighthush).
- Python or scripting skills for imports and automation—valuable but not mandatory.
- Experience creating training content—videos, guides, webinars.
- Familiarity with aerospace and defense requirements (ITAR, DFARS, traceability, lot/serial tracking).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for delivering value.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, Slack, Jira).
- Adaptability to fast‑changing technology and processes.
