Role Overview

As a Senior Customer Success & Grid Optimization Specialist, you will be the linchpin that ensures every new customer is onboarded smoothly, stays informed, and achieves success with our platform. From the moment a sale closes, you’ll guide customers through the entire journey—kickoff, data collection, go‑live, and ongoing support—while keeping all stakeholders aligned and informed. Your role blends strategic account management with hands‑on technical support, making you a key driver of customer satisfaction, platform adoption, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Handoff & Information Tracking: Receive new customer details from Sales, verify completeness, and flag missing data. Maintain a clean, up‑to‑date customer database that serves as the single source of truth for all teams.
  • Kickoff Preparation & Execution: Coordinate logistics, prepare agenda, and lead kickoff calls using our standard deck. Ensure that all stakeholders—sales, engineering, operations, and the customer—are aligned on expectations, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Data Collection & Follow‑Up: Gather site, generator, and contact information from customers, and persistently follow up until all requirements are met. Use brighthush CRM tools to track progress and set reminders for next steps.
  • Project Tracking: Monitor each site from kickoff to go‑live, updating internal dashboards and communicating status to customers, field engineers, and the brighthush team. Identify bottlenecks early and propose solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Dispatch Communication: Send timely updates around dispatch events, tests, and market programs; assist the dispatch lead with outreach during events. Ensure that customers are fully informed of any changes that may affect their operations.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor site health alerts, collaborate with customers and field engineers to resolve problems, and ensure a smooth resolution path. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams while keeping the customer in the loop.
  • Customer Support: Field day‑to‑day questions, triage issues, and involve the appropriate teammate for escalations. Provide proactive guidance to help customers maximize platform value.
  • Documentation & Process Improvement: Keep brighthush, meeting notes, and action items current; propose enhancements to onboarding checklists and customer materials. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce friction.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Work with senior leadership to develop account plans that identify upsell opportunities, cross‑sell potential, and long‑term partnership goals.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of evolving grid regulations, market rules, and emerging technologies to provide customers with forward‑looking insights.
