About the Team
The Customer Success Service Operations team is a newly formed, high‑impact unit designed to modernize how we structure, access, and act on customer data. As a foundational role, you will transform raw data into automated reporting and AI‑assisted tools that enable real‑time customer health tracking, streamline quarterly and executive business reviews, and provide executives with crystal‑clear visibility into customer outcomes. Your work will directly influence the success of thousands of customers and shape the future of our data‑driven customer success strategy.
About the Role
As a Senior Customer Success Operations Analyst at brighthush, you will be the linchpin between data, automation, and customer success. You will own the reporting and automation layer, translating stakeholder needs into actionable field‑level requirements and building the solutions that power our Customer Success data mart. Your expertise will help us move from manual, ad‑hoc reporting to a fully automated, AI‑first ecosystem that delivers insights faster and more accurately than ever before.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the reporting and automation layer for Customer Success – Translate stakeholder needs for account health, QBR/EBR decks, and executive dashboards into field‑level requirements, then build the reporting and automation on top of the Customer Success data mart.
- Default to AI‑first workflows – Shape the roadmap for deterministic (data plumbing) and non‑deterministic (AI/LLM‑driven) automation that surfaces customer insights, health checks, and recurring reports, replacing manual, ad‑hoc work wherever possible.
- Automate recurring Customer Success workflows beyond reporting – Include renewal/adoption tracking, repetitive support tasks like ticket triage and diagnostics, and cross‑platform automation that connects support tools with systems like brighthush, brighthush, and the data warehouse to cut down manual handoffs.
- Help define a secure, auditable data access model – Work with Business Systems and Security to design and implement a governance framework that protects customer‑tenant data while enabling efficient access.
- Maintain data quality and documentation – Flag gaps, inconsistencies, or governance issues in Customer Success data sources and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Partner across Business Systems, Product/Engineering, and Customer Success (TAM and Support) – Shape how data flows into the reports and tools people use every day, ensuring alignment across teams.
Essential Qualifications
- AI‑first problem‑solving mindset – you evaluate where agentic or LLM‑driven workflows can replace manual, ad‑hoc reporting rather than defaulting to scripts or dashboards.
- Hands‑on experience with a modern data platform – querying, data modeling on governed marts, and building metric/semantic views.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for data transformation and automation.
- Strong communication skills – translate ambiguous business reporting needs into concrete data requirements.
- Experience with brighthush data and/or customer success platforms is a plus.
- Understanding of data access governance and security best practices, especially around customer‑tenant data.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity, partnering directly with engineering/business systems teams that own the broader data warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building AI‑driven dashboards and predictive models that influence customer success strategies.
- Knowledge of cloud data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as brighthush, brighthush, or brighthush.
- Background in cybersecurity or identity & access management (IAM) domains.
- Prior experience in a high‑growth SaaS company with a focus on customer success metrics.
Skills & Competencies
- Data Engineering – proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data pipeline orchestration.
- Automation & Orchestration – experience with brighthush, brighthush, or similar.
