The aim of our project is to provide a high quality digital customer experience and to develop modern infrastructures, providing the necessary professional knowledge. We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Data Engineer to build complex data platforms for our clients and also support them with data strategy consulting. As a member of our existing team, you work on various projects, typically in MS Fabric or Databricks based environments. The projects support data-driven decision making for midsize and large enterprise customers in the DACH region, from surveying the architecture to delivering a working data platform. Tasks Design scalable, cloud-native data architectures for Databricks or MS Fabric platforms. You create data models, schemas and storage patterns (lakehouse, Delta, Parquet). You design the loading pipelines for batch and streaming data. You define the ETL/ELT processes and transformation strategy. You will introduce solutions for data governance, data lineage and metadata management. Optimize performance, costs and resource usage. You set up the monitoring, alerting system and operational runbooks. You collaborate with data architects, data analysts and business stakeholders.
