Senior DevOps Trainer ( AI for DevOps) — Freelance, Remote Are you a DevOps engineer who loves teaching? Turn your experience into a course that engineers worldwide will learn from. We’re hiring on behalf of a global hands-on tech-education platform used by over a million engineers to learn DevOps, cloud , Kubernetes and AI . Its courses are built around real labs, not slides, and taught by practising engineers. We’re looking for a DevOps engineer who loves teaching to create and present a course on AI for DevOps : how engineers use AI agents and modern AI tooling in real infrastructure work. How it works Start with one paid course project. You can do it alongside your current job, with no fixed weekly hours. A typical project takes around 3 months. It’s built for the long term: the team is growing its trainer pool, and a good first project can lead to a full-time role or more courses. Fixed, competitive fee per course, agreed upfront and based on course scope. Fully remote and flexible. Expect a weekly sync and some time-zone overlap with a Europe/Asia-based team. What you’ll do Design the course outline and specify hands-on labs (a labs team builds them). Write and narrate short, story-driven video lessons (~6 min each). Record demos and lab walkthroughs. Work with editors on feedback. Video production and publishing are handled for you. What we’re looking for Hands-on DevOps experience: Linux, containers, Kubernetes, a major cloud , CI/CD, IaC. Real, current use of AI in your engineering work: agents, coding assistants, LLM automation. A genuine passion for teaching, shown through courses, tutorials, talks, workshops or mentoring. Excellent spoken and written English. All courses are delivered in English, so you need to be clear, natural and confident on camera. Openness to an established teaching methodology and to feedback. Nice to have: published courses (Udemy, Pluralsight, YouTube), conference talks, DevRel or community roles (CNCF Ambassador, AWS Community Builder, MVP), Kubernetes or AWS/Azure certifications.
