Role Description The Senior Director of Business Operations is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing core business operations across AlphaVentures’ construction and electro-mechanical projects. This role leads strategic planning for operational efficiency, develops and implements process improvements, and aligns business operations with financial and project performance goals. The Senior Director will collaborate with executive leadership, project managers, and finance teams to streamline workflows, improve resource allocation, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Day-to-day activities include monitoring key performance indicators, guiding program management initiatives, managing operational risks, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery. The role also involves preparing executive reports, supporting long-term business growth strategies, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Qualifications
Strong business operations background, including experience in Business Operations and Program Management for multi-disciplinary project environments. Demonstrated capability in Business Process Improvement with a track record of designing, implementing, and measuring process enhancements. Advanced Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex data, develop insights, and support data-driven decision-making. Solid Finance knowledge, including budgeting, cost control, and financial performance analysis related to operations. Proven leadership in remote or geographically distributed teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or related industries is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of integrity, quality, and safety.
