Role Description The Senior Director of Product Management is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the end-to-end product lifecycle across African Rainbow Capital’s portfolio and strategic initiatives. This role oversees product vision, strategy, and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations. Day-to-day activities include guiding product discovery, defining requirements, prioritizing features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and operations to deliver high-quality products. The Senior Director will analyze market trends, customer insights, and performance data to inform product decisions and optimize value. The role also involves mentoring product managers, establishing best practices, and driving effective governance around product planning, delivery, and measurement.
Qualifications
Strong product strategy and product management skills, with a track record of owning product vision and roadmaps for complex offerings. Advanced analytical skills, including market analysis, data-driven decision-making, and performance measurement. Proven team leadership abilities, with experience coaching product teams and collaborating with senior stakeholders. Solid project management skills, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and coordinating cross-functional delivery. Extensive experience in senior product roles within financial services, investment, or technology-driven businesses. Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment and manage stakeholders across time zones. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at executive level. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is advantageous.
