Role Description The Senior Financial Director is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading financial strategy and oversight across all business activities associated with Dr Wajid Khan’s ventures and initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include developing and maintaining long-term financial plans, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate, timely preparation of financial statements and reports. The role involves monitoring cash flow, analyzing financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and advising on investment decisions and business growth strategies. The Senior Financial Director will establish financial controls, support compliance with relevant regulations, and implement best practices in financial governance. Collaboration with Dr Khan and other stakeholders to translate strategic vision into measurable financial outcomes is central to this position.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning to guide long-term strategy, budgeting, and resource allocation. Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial documentation. Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, model scenarios, and support evidence-based decisions. Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within entrepreneurial, high-growth, or consulting environments. Proficiency with financial modeling tools, accounting software, and spreadsheet applications. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly. Relevant academic background (e.g., degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business); professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are an advantage.
