Senior Hospitalist Clinical Reviewer
The Work You will review inpatient clinical cases and documentation for quality, accuracy, and appropriate care. You will explain your decisions clearly and use clinical standards to support your conclusions when needed.
- Review inpatient cases for clinical quality, documentation accuracy, and appropriate care.
- Identify unclear, complex, or unusual cases that require careful clinical judgment.
- Provide written feedback and explain the medical reasoning behind review decisions.
- Document findings and support conclusions with applicable clinical standards when needed.
- Help improve the guidelines and standards used for AI training reviews.
- Work with the project team to clarify difficult cases and maintain consistent review quality.
What It Pays and Takes This is a part-time contractor role for an experienced hospitalist with strong judgment in complex inpatient care. The work is remote and requires clear communication and independent work.
- $70 to $100 per hour.
- Part-time contract work.
- Open to candidates in the countries specified for this role, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, India, Singapore, and South Africa.
- Fluent English.
- MD or DO degree.
- At least 10 years of attending-level hospitalist experience.
- Strong clinical judgment for complex or ambiguous inpatient cases.
- Experience with clinical quality, documentation review, medical auditing, hospital quality assurance, or related quality assurance work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote contractor setting.
- Experience with inpatient quality, documentation improvement, coding, or medical audit programs is helpful.
