Senior Integration Engineer

Role Description The Senior Integration Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Albatross’s platform and external systems, data sources, and partner APIs. Day-to-day activities include analyzing integration requirements, developing and testing robust interfaces, troubleshooting complex data and performance issues, and optimizing system interoperability. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, software engineers, and external partners to ensure data flows are secure, reliable, and scalable. The Senior Integration Engineer also contributes to integration architecture decisions, documentation, and best practices to support the long-term evolution of the platform.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Troubleshooting complex technical and data-related issues. Candidates should possess experience in Software Development, including coding, testing, and debugging in modern programming languages and frameworks. Candidates should possess Integration expertise, including designing APIs, middleware, and data pipelines between heterogeneous systems. Candidates should possess Systems Engineering skills, including understanding distributed architectures, data flows, performance, and reliability. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is beneficial. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and secure integration practices is advantageous. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
