Senior NDT Inspector (Level II/III) - Remote
Role Title: Senior NDT Inspector (Level II/III) Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote (US-based preferred) Job Summary We are looking for experienced Senior NDT Inspectors to support an engineering AI training project. You’ll apply your expertise in non-destructive testing to interpret inspection data, evaluate weld indications, and provide accurate technical assessments. AI experience is not required. Scope of Work Analyze and interpret radiographic images (RT), ultrasonic scans (UT/PAUT), and MT/PT indications. Review inspection data for compliance with applicable codes and standards. Evaluate weld defects and provide acceptance or disposition recommendations. Review thermographic images and remote visual inspection (RVI) footage when required. Prepare clear and technically accurate inspection reports. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve complex or ambiguous indications. Contribute to improving inspection protocols and project guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Active ASNT or ISO 9712 Level II/III certification in relevant NDT methods. 8+ years of experience interpreting RT, UT/PAUT, MT/PT, and related NDT data. Strong knowledge of ASME Section V, VIII, XI; API 510/570/653; API 1104; and AWS D1.1. Experience applying code-based weld acceptance criteria. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Thermography or RVI experience is a plus.
