Why This Role Matters
As a Senior Oracle Customer Data Management (CDM) Consultant, you will be the linchpin between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that every customer record is accurate, consistent, and actionable. Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Lead the end‑to‑end design of Oracle CDM solutions, translating business requirements into robust data models, matching rules, and survivorship strategies.
- Implementation & Configuration: Deploy and configure Oracle CDM components, including Customer Data Management, Customer Relationship Management, and related Fusion Cloud modules.
- Data Quality & Governance: Champion data quality initiatives—cleanse, enrich, validate, and standardize customer data to eliminate duplicates and maintain a single source of truth.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business owners, data stewards, and IT architects to capture requirements, provide status updates, and ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy.
- Integration & APIs: Design and implement REST/SOAP interfaces, data migration scripts, and integration flows that connect Oracle CDM to external systems.
- Testing & Validation: Develop test plans, execute data validation, and troubleshoot issues to guarantee solution reliability and performance.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Produce comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and training materials to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Oracle CDM enhancements, industry best practices, and emerging data management trends to recommend proactive improvements.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle CDM and customer master data management.
- Deep understanding of customer profiles, account hierarchies, party relationships, and data modeling principles.
- Proven track record configuring matching rules, duplicate detection, survivorship, and merge logic.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, especially CDM and CRM modules.
- Solid grasp of REST APIs, SOAP web services, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Oracle security, roles, privileges, and data access controls.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
