Our remote‑first philosophy empowers you to work from anywhere while staying connected through cutting‑edge technology and a supportive virtual community.
Position Summary
We are looking for a meticulous, tech‑savvy Senior Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to become the backbone of our prescription processing workflow. In this role, you will ensure that every medication order is entered accurately, verified, and dispatched with the highest level of compliance and customer service. You will collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and senior‑care staff to resolve discrepancies, maintain audit trails, and uphold the integrity of our electronic health record system.
Why This Role Matters
Every prescription you process directly impacts a senior’s health and well‑being. Your precision safeguards against medication errors, protects patients from adverse drug interactions, and supports the clinical teams that rely on accurate data to make informed decisions. By joining brighthush, you become a critical link in a chain that delivers compassionate, evidence‑based care to some of the most vulnerable members of our society.
Key Responsibilities
- Prescription Data Entry: Accurately input new and refill prescriptions into our pharmacy management system, ensuring correct dosage, frequency, and patient information.
- Verification & Eligibility Checks: Confirm patient eligibility, insurance coverage, and drug interactions before processing orders.

- Document all correspondence and follow‑ups in the system to maintain a clear audit trail.
- Prepare and submit audit sheets, providing feedback to management on process improvements.
- Handle incomplete or rejected scripts by forwarding them to the appropriate department and tracking status until resolution.
- Assist with research of lost or missing orders upon internal request.
- Provide backup support to other pharmacy groups during peak periods or staffing shortages.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, delivering exceptional customer service to clients and staff.
Daily Workflow & Tools
Each day begins with a quick sync on our virtual collaboration platform, where you’ll review the overnight batch of prescriptions, prioritize high‑urgency orders, and flag any potential issues. You’ll use our proprietary FrameWorks LTC system for data entry, while Docutrack assists with insurance eligibility and claims status. Microsoft Office Suite remains essential for reporting, while Slack and Microsoft Teams keep you connected to pharmacists, physicians, and support staff.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and alternating shifts, to meet 24/7/365 operational demands.
- Collaborative mindset with a proven track record of working effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum one year of pharmacy data entry experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of brand and generic medications, drug classifications, and medical terminology.
