Senior Physician Recruiter

๐ŸŒ Remote ยท United States ๐Ÿ’ผ Full-time

About us Apollo Radiology International USA provides diagnostic and interventional radiology services to hospitals and health systems across the United States. We're part of Apollo Radiology International, with teams in the US, UK, UAE and India. We're building a permanent, employed radiologist team in the US, and we're building the in-house recruiting function to go with it. This is one of the first two recruiting hires on that team. The role You'll lead our hardest searches: interventional radiology, breast imaging, neuroradiology and MSK. These are some of the most competitive placements in the specialty, and closing them is your job. Most of the physicians you'll talk to already have jobs and aren't looking. They'll engage only when the approach is worth their time. So this is outbound, full-cycle work, not waiting on job board replies. We'd rather win radiologists by being straight about workload and schedule than by trying to outbid everyone, and you'll be the one making that case. You'll report directly to our Chief Operating Officer. What you'll do Own a book of subspecialty and IR searches from intake to signed acceptance: search strategy, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer negotiation and close Build passive candidate pipelines ahead of need, through professional societies, physician platforms, direct outreach and referrals Screen for subspecialty fit, board and subspecialty certification, licensure status and pay expectations Explain pay, workload and terms accurately and the same way in every conversation Work with clinical leaders on candidate assessment and with credentialing on realistic start dates Keep candidate records current in our applicant tracking system, with source of hire on every closed search Represent us at radiology conferences and career fairs, with candidate meetings booked in advance Give the COO regular pipeline forecasts and flag slippage early Help our associate recruiter build subspecialty knowledge and candidate skills What you'll bring 6+ years of full-cycle physician (preferably radiologist) recruiting, including placements in procedural or subspecialty fields A track record of closing physicians at senior compensation levels A working command of physician pay: productivity-based models, subspecialty benchmarks, and call and coverage arrangements Proven success with passive candidates. If your experience is mostly managing inbound job board applicants, this role won't be a fit. Familiarity with state medical licensure, the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, and hospital credentialing and privileging timelines Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience Nice to have Direct experience recruiting general and interventional radiologists or breast imagers Background in teleradiology, hospital-based radiology or a multi-site radiology group AAPPR membership or certification Experience with physician sourcing platforms and applicant tracking systems Working knowledge of physician immigration pathways, including H-1B and placements How we'll measure success We review performance quarterly: placements against the annual recruiting plan, priority searches closed on time, a first response to inbound candidates within four business hours at least 90 percent of the time, time to fill within 90 days where the market allows, and no offer closed outside approved pay or workload terms without written sign-off. Pay and benefits Base salary of $95,000 to $110,000, depending on experience Commission on every placement, weighted by subspecialty, with extra incentives for priority searches and speed. On-target total cash runs roughly $122,000 to $138,000 depending on where your base lands, with more available above target. Commission is paid in two parts: at signed acceptance, and again once the physician reaches a set service milestone A guaranteed monthly minimum while you ramp up Full benefits, paid time off and professional association membership Where and how you'll work Remote, anywhere in the US. Plan on four to six trips a year for the radiology conference calendar. You'll work alongside a second recruiter, dedicated sourcing support, and dedicated licensure and credentialing support. Apollo Radiology International USA is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
