Senior Product Manager Job type: Full-time, hired as a contractor Job Schedule: Monday to Friday, regular working hours About the Client Our client is a growing B2B SaaS company that provides an integrated HR and payroll management platform for businesses across Central America. Its solution supports the full employee lifecycle, from digital employee records, organizational structures, time and attendance, vacations, and documentation to payroll calculations, benefits, deductions, and government reporting. With a growing enterprise customer base and a small, AI-first team, the company is focused on building reliable, scalable products where accuracy and data integrity are critical.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to take end-to-end ownership of the product function and help shape the company’s next stage of growth. Working closely with the founders, you will help define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while taking responsibility for measurable outcomes such as adoption, retention, and enterprise expansion. This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy and influence across strategy, discovery, delivery, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, working closely with engineering, and using AI and data to improve how products are built. Job Responsibilities Help define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in collaboration with the founders. Identify and prioritize the customer segments, HR modules, and product opportunities that can drive growth. Own product outcomes, including adoption, customer retention, usage, and enterprise expansion. Translate validated customer problems into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with engineering throughout planning, development, and iteration cycles. Make product decisions around build vs. integrate, prioritization, and feature removal. Establish lightweight product processes for discovery, decision-making, measurement, and delivery. Conduct customer interviews, participate in client meetings, support escalations, and collaborate with Sales and Account Management. Use product data, customer usage, and trends to inform decisions and measure results. Identify opportunities where AI can create value while protecting the accuracy and integrity of payroll calculations and employee data. Evaluate and develop strategic partnerships and product integrations. Help build and establish the product function within a small, highly collaborative team. Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in Product Management. Demonstrated experience taking a product, function, or product area from an early stage to measurable results. Strong product strategy skills, with the ability to connect product decisions to revenue, adoption, or retention. Hands-on experience working closely with engineering on user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and product delivery. Strong ownership and decision-making skills, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments. Practical experience using AI and modern tools for analysis, problem-solving, prototyping, or product development. Good enough technical fluency to discuss architecture, APIs, and integrations with engineering teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with founders, engineers, and customers. Experience with B2B SaaS, regulated industries, or products involving sensitive data is a plus. Experience with payroll, HRIS, or HR technology in Latin America is highly valued. Experience with accounting or ERP integrations is a plus. Professional English is a plus. Fully remote; candidates should be based in Spanish-speaking Latin America and be available to travel when required.
