Remote Position

Senior Project Manager - Data & Analytics

🌍 Remote · Germany 💼 Full-time

Role: Senior Project Manager, Data & Analytics Location: Remote (U.S.) Duration: 6 months to start Rate: up to $67/hour W2, dependent on skills and qualifications Position Summary The Senior Project Manager, Data & Analytics coordinates delivery across the department’s full portfolio of Data, Analytics, and AI initiatives — a scope that spans every team in the company and will continue to grow. Today, that portfolio centers on Master Data Management (MDM), an enterprise data warehouse transformation, and modernization of internal reporting and analytics tools; new initiatives, including a growing set of AI capabilities, will expand it further. This role ensures the full portfolio is sequenced, aligned, and moving in the same direction — including with technical teams outside the department whose timelines this work depends on. Reports directly to the VP, Data & Analytics. This is not a status-reporting role. You’ll spend most of your time in the seams between teams — aligning Finance, Operations, Marketing, Clinical, and IT on definitions, priorities, and sequencing — and partnering with the Data & Analytics team to turn priorities into plans the engineering team can actually execute. You’ll partner directly with the VP to formalize and scale how the department takes in, prioritizes, and communicates progress on work across the organization, including how AI applications and tooling get evaluated and adopted. Emerging AI initiatives call for a different lens than a standard data request: feasibility, risk, and business case, not just urgency and effort. Helping build that scoping and evaluation muscle is part of the job. What You’ll Own Cross-portfolio sequencing & delivery alignment Own the master sequencing plan across the Data & Analytics portfolio, partnering with the domain leaders who own each program's technical delivery so dependencies are tracked and everything lands together instead of drifting on separate clocks. Work daily with the leaders who own the department’s various domains to keep priorities, timelines, and sequencing unified across the portfolio. Work as part of IT's broader PMO. Partner closely with the IT PMO lead and project managers across IT to surface overlap and dependencies, and keep teams like Infrastructure and Security synced to D&A's timelines, so the organization runs on one integrated plan instead of competing schedules. Facilitate the cross-functional decisions that block sequencing — resourcing conflicts, migration wave order, competing field initiatives — without owning the underlying technical call. Department intake & prioritization Partner with the VP and cross-functional IT/business leaders to formalize and scale the department’s approach to intake and prioritization — building the structure, tooling, and cadence around a framework that weighs business value, urgency, and effort. Help design and stand up a distinct evaluation approach for emerging AI initiatives — proposals from across the org call for different signals (feasibility, risk, business case, scope) than a standard data request. Own the operational cadence around this: consistent acknowledgment timelines, clear ownership on every request, and a documented view of what’s in flight and why. Stakeholder & portfolio management Run the D&A portfolio in Asana, built on IT's shared portfolio framework: project structure, dependency mapping, milestone tracking, and portfolio-level reporting. Facilitate steering, working-group, and prioritization forums with business and IT leaders; prepare executive-ready updates for the VP, CIO, and executive team, including support for the department’s governance committee (agendas, follow-ups, decision tracking). Serve as a primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders bringing work to the department, so technical leads can stay focused on delivery. Identify, escalate, and resolve risks early — scope creep, resourcing conflicts, competing field initiatives, data-quality blockers. Partner with Finance on budget tracking, vendor management, and software capitalization documentation for internally developed components. What You Bring Required 6+ years of project or program management experience, including large-scale, cross-functional technology programs. Demonstrated success leading a large-scale, cross-functional technology initiative from planning through delivery. Experience helping design or mature an intake, prioritization, or governance process, not just operating one someone else built. Deep experience with stakeholder alignment in a matrixed organization: you can get Finance, Operations, and Engineering to agree on a timeline and hold them to it. Hands-on proficiency with Asana (or equivalent) for portfolio and project management, including dependency and workload views. Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to executives and translating technical detail for non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities and shifting timelines. Preferred Working understanding of modern data architecture concepts: cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred), ELT pipelines, semantic layers, data governance, and data quality. Experience with AI-assisted work — using Claude, Anthropic’s platform, or similar tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, planning, or prototyping. Exposure to evaluating or governing emerging AI/agentic tooling initiatives. Familiarity with modern web application delivery (Vercel, Next.js, or similar). Healthcare, DSO, or multi-site operations experience; familiarity with HIPAA and PHI handling. Experience with software capitalization processes and Finance partnership on internally developed software. PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification; Agile/Scrum experience. How We Work Small, senior team. You will have direct access to decision-makers and be expected to use it. Bias toward clarity over ceremony: a one-page plan that people follow beats a 40-page charter no one reads. We build with AI tools and expect you to bring curiosity about how they change the work. Fully remote role. Occasional travel to practices and corporate sites for stakeholder engagement and rollout support.
