Overview

Seeking a technical Senior QA Engineer for a backend-focused role involving high-volume trade simulation, data integrity and cloud data pipeline testing. The role requires strong Python programming, advanced SQL and hands-on automation experience.

Responsibilities

Develop Python automation frameworks using Pytest and Requests to simulate thousands of real-time trades and stress-test trading platforms. Validate ETL/ELT pipelines in AWS, identifying data loss, transformation errors and data-quality issues. Write advanced SQL queries to validate accuracy, consistency and completeness across MySQL, Snowflake and Hive. Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers to improve system behavior under high transaction volumes. Investigate failures across services, REST APIs and database procedures. Support planned releases outside business hours and resolve ad hoc operational issues. Required Qualifications 5+ years of software QA experience, focused on data testing and backend automation. Ability to write Python code from scratch for test-data generation, API mocking and traffic simulation. Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins and window functions. Experience testing cloud data pipelines; AWS experience preferred. Strong REST API testing and automation experience. Experience with performance and load testing for high-volume transactions. French language capability. Technology Stack Python, Pytest, Pandas, Requests, SQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Hive, Athena, AWS S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, REST APIs, GitHub, Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications

Capital-markets knowledge, including equities, trade lifecycles and financial instruments. Experience with Hadoop, Spark or Hive. Linux shell scripting.
