The Role: Senior Remote Long‑Term Care Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist

As a Senior Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Specialist at brighthush, you will be the backbone of our prescription processing operations. You will collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists, and our internal quality teams to uphold the highest standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescription orders into our proprietary pharmacy management system with 100 % accuracy.
• Verify prescription eligibility, insurance coverage, and dosage instructions before processing.
• Communicate with physicians’ offices to obtain refill authorizations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Contact clients to confirm medication details, dosage changes, or special instructions.
• Document all correspondence and follow‑up actions within the system to maintain audit trails.
• Prepare and submit audit sheets, providing actionable feedback to managers to improve workflow efficiency.
• Identify and flag incomplete or rejected scripts, routing them to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status.
• Assist with research on lost or missing orders as requested by internal teams.

Essential Qualifications
