Senior Security Engineer

About the company Our client is a fast growing open source company building real time voice and video infrastructure used by some of the biggest names in AI and tech. They recently raised a $100M Series C at a $1B valuation led by Index Ventures. The Trust team is small and hands on, and every engineer has real ownership over how the platform stays secure. The role You'll secure a production platform running across cloud and Kubernetes, build guardrails into infrastructure as code, automate security work so it scales, and support compliance audits like SOC 2, ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. You'll partner closely with engineering and make pragmatic risk calls on a team where your work ships directly. What you'll bring 5+ years in security engineering, or infrastructure engineering / SRE with a significant security focus Hands on AWS, GCP or Azure plus Kubernetes Ownership of infrastructure security for a production platform Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001 or PCI DSS audits Strong automation skills in Go or Python Hands on experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code Pragmatic risk judgment and a track record of working closely with engineering teams Nice to have Real time media, WebRTC or networking experience AI, LLM or agent security experience Incident response or application security background This role is not a fit if your work has been mostly GRC or policy, scanner and ticket driven, advisory only, or depends on a large security org around you.
