Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Strong experience with camera and/or LiDAR simulation for robotics or autonomous systems. Understanding of sensor physics, calibration, coordinate transforms, timestamps, and ground truth. Python/C++ engineering and data analysis skills. Good to Have Radar, GNSS/IMU, ROS2, OpenCV, PCL, Omniverse sensors, Isaac Sim, Replicator, or domain randomization. Roles & Responsibilities Develop and validate realistic camera, LiDAR, GNSS, IMU, and related sensor models for perception development, synthetic data, and autonomous-system testing. Implement sensor models, parameters, noise, artifacts, latency, timing, calibration, coordinate frames, and environmental effects. Generate synchronized multimodal outputs and ground truth for perception workflows. Calibrate synthetic outputs against real sensor data and define validation metrics. Optimize sensor simulation for scale, repeatability, and GPU performance. Managerial Skills Collaborate with rendering, scenario, robotics, data, and AI engineering teams.
