Senior Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Design, develop, test, and maintain production software for a mission-critical, future-ready automation platform. Serve as Scrum Master for an Agile development team, facilitating ceremonies and removing impediments. Guide the team through SAFe cadence, including PI planning, iteration planning, and backlog refinement. Track and communicate team flow metrics, velocity, and PI objective progress to drive continuous improvement. Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate team status, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress. Leverage modern DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 6+ years. 5+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and reviewing production Java applications. 2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master on a SAFe Agile team. Experience designing and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs. Significant experience with the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Security.
