About the Opportunity: The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, ENTERPRISE AI, is responsible for designing and developing scalable AI-powered software systems that support the organization’s business needs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate complex problems into effective technical solutions. The position plays a key role in advancing the organization’s AI technologies and delivers solutions that have a broad company impact. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and operate scalable software systems for Enterprise AI products. Translate ambiguous business and technical problems into clear engineering solutions. Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other teams. Own projects through the full software development lifecycle. Contribute to engineering best practices, including code reviews and documentation. Influence technical direction by identifying opportunities and sharing knowledge. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years professional software engineering experience with production systems. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or C++. Experience with distributed or highly scalable software system design and troubleshooting. Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate technical decisions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI or machine learning products and platforms. Familiarity with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent automation, or related Enterprise AI technologies. Experience with cloud infrastructure, data platforms, APIs, and production observability. Skills in improving software reliability, performance, security, or cost efficiency at scale. Leadership abilities including mentoring and influencing technical decisions. Adaptability to a fast-changing work environment. Pay Range and Compensation Package: Base pay range varies by location, examples include: CA, NY, CT, NJ $199,000—$210,000 USD WA $191,000—$201,500 USD OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, HI $183,000—$193,000 USD All other states $166,000—$175,000 USD Compensation offers may vary based on experience and skills.
