Your ability to translate complex technical solutions into persuasive commercial narratives will set the tone for success across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Development & Management

  • Own the end‑to‑end bid lifecycle: From initial scoping and feasibility studies to final proposal submission, you will lead the creation, review, and delivery of field‑service proposals for data‑center power and automation projects.
  • Cost estimation & pricing strategy: Accurately model costs, select optimal product mixes, and negotiate pricing and terms that balance customer value with margin targets.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration: Partner with engineering, project management, finance, and procurement to ensure proposals are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with brighthush’s strategic goals.
  • Bid performance analysis: Track win/loss ratios, margin outcomes, and customer feedback to continuously refine bid templates and best practices.
  • Template development: Create and maintain a library of reusable bid components, ensuring consistency and speed across the organization.
  • Risk assessment: Identify potential technical, financial, and regulatory risks in proposals and develop mitigation strategies.

Technical & Commercial Coordination

  • Translate engineering designs into value‑driven narratives: Convert technical specifications into clear, customer‑centric language that highlights ROI, reliability, and future‑proofing.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge: Stay current on product capabilities, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure proposals reflect the latest standards.
  • Technical validation: Work with design teams to verify that proposed solutions meet performance, safety, and compliance criteria before they reach the customer.
  • Pricing model refinement: Continuously improve cost models to reflect market changes, supplier dynamics, and internal cost structures.
  • Stakeholder communication: Present technical and commercial concepts to senior executives, ensuring alignment and buy‑in.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain meticulous records: Store all bid documents, assumptions, and decision logs in a centralized repository for auditability and future reference.
  • Ensure compliance: Verify that all submissions meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Version control: Manage document revisions and approvals to guarantee that the latest, most accurate information is presented to clients.
  • Audit readiness: Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and traceability.

Client Engagement

  • Primary point of contact: Serve as the main liaison for data‑center operators and colocation providers during the proposal phase.
  • Value communication: Articulate complex technical solutions in clear, value‑driven narratives that resonate with customers and influence decision‑makers.
  • Relationship building: Foster long‑term partnerships by delivering exceptional service, anticipating client needs, and providing proactive support.
  • Feedback loop: Capture client insights and incorporate them into future bid strategies and product development.

  • On‑site troubleshooting: Provide expert guidance during installation, commissioning, and post‑deployment support to guarantee seamless integration.
  • Site‑specific customization: Adapt proposals to unique site constraints, ensuring technical feasibility and customer satisfaction.

Continuous Improvement

  • Process optimization: Identify gaps in bid creation, pricing accuracy, and time‑to‑quote, and propose enhancements to streamline workflows.
  • Tool enhancement: Evaluate and implement new proposal management and CRM tools to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Knowledge sharing: Lead workshops and training sessions to disseminate best practices across the commercial and technical teams.
  • Metrics development: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for bid quality, win rates, and customer satisfaction.
