Role Description The Senior Vice President of Operations is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational performance across The Factor Exchange. This role leads operational strategy and execution, ensuring efficient processes for broker and lender onboarding, deal flow management, and approval coordination. The SVP of Operations will design and optimize workflows, establish performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support scalable growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing cross-functional projects, aligning operations with business objectives, monitoring P&L impacts of operational decisions, and ensuring a high standard of customer service to brokers and lending partners. The role also involves mentoring operational teams, collaborating with senior leadership on strategic planning, and implementing best practices to maintain regulatory and internal compliance.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including process optimization and scalable workflow design. Strong experience in P&L Management with the ability to connect operational decisions to financial performance. Background in Customer Service leadership, ensuring high-quality experiences for brokers, lenders, and internal stakeholders. Proven ability in Strategic Planning and Project Management, leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution. 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably within financial services, lending, or related industries. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading remote and distributed teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree is an asset.
