Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Raw Material Manager, you will be the linchpin that keeps our raw material and supplier documentation accurate, current, and audit‑ready. As brighthush scales its raw material base to support Direct‑to‑Consumer, mass retail, and an upcoming cross‑category launch, your role will ensure that every specification and supplier record meets the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be the guardian of data integrity, the catalyst for continuous improvement, and the bridge between suppliers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Specification Management: Gather, update, and maintain over 100 raw material and packaging specifications, ensuring consistency across all product lines and compliance with evolving industry standards.
• Supplier Quality Questionnaires (SQQs): Coordinate the timely completion of SQQs for our entire supplier base, verifying accuracy and completeness, and flagging any gaps for corrective action.
• Risk Assessment: Build and own a comprehensive supplier risk assessment framework that evaluates food safety, allergens, product type, country of origin, and other critical risk factors, and produce actionable risk mitigation plans.
• Supplier Onboarding & Product Launches: Support new supplier approvals, product changes, and new product launches with meticulous documentation and proactive follow‑up, ensuring seamless integration into our supply chain.
• Horizon Scanning: Conduct research to identify emerging raw material trends, regulatory changes, and supply risks, flagging findings to the Raw Material Manager and recommending strategic responses.
• Data Analytics: Analyze raw material and supplier data, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining rigorous accuracy standards, and translate insights into clear, actionable reports.
• Record Keeping: Maintain an organized, audit‑ready repository of all specs, SQQs, and risk assessments, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Raw Material Manager and the broader Quality team, proactively identifying gaps or inconsistencies before they become issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, quality, or supply chain support role, ideally within food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, capable of managing high volumes of documentation across 100+ specifications without errors.
• Strong written English and research skills, able to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable reports.
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research and data work, while applying sound judgment to verify accuracy.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, document management systems, and quality/compliance record‑keeping.
• Reliable, proactive, and self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and remotely across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP, GFSI, or ISO 22000.
• Experience with supplier relationship management (SRM) platforms or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of sustainability metrics and circular supply chain practices.
• Previous exposure to cross‑category product launches or large‑scale retail rollouts.
• Certification in quality management or supply chain analytics.
