Job Description: We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Shopify Developer to help completely build a sleek, premium, single-product line e-commerce storefront. Our business turns customers' personal photos into high-end keepsakes using a commercial UV printer. We have a clear vision and need a professional to execute the layout styling, variant architecture, upload app configurations, and shipping logic. Core Project Requirements: 1. Theme Setup & Visual Layout: Configure a fast, modern Shopify theme (such as Dawn or a similar clean, photo-centric option). Set up a premium, emotional, high-contrast homepage grid displaying our finished product styles. 2. Complex Variant Mapping: Set up product options with dynamic pricing based on dropdown selections.
- Material Substrates: Canvas, Glass, Brushed Metal, Clear Acrylic, Natural Slate, and Ceramic.
- Sizes: 5x7, 8x10, 11x14.
2. Mandatory File-Upload Integration: Integrate and configure a high-resolution, uncompressed file-upload app (e.g., Uploadly or Uploadery). This field must be mandatory before adding to the cart, support high-res JPG/PNG files, and link the original file download button directly to our Shopify backend invoices. 3. Custom Text Input Field: Add an optional text area on product pages for personalized names or dates. 4. Weight-Based Shipping Setup: Configure shipping tiers that accurately charge rates based on heavy material variations (e.g., natural slate and glass blanks weigh significantly more than canvas). The Ideal Freelancer:
- Proven track record building Shopify stores with custom product options or upload systems.
- Understands e-commerce file handling (ensuring images are not compressed or lowered in quality on the backend).
