Shopify developer needed - custom gift app (registry, reminders, subscriptions)
I'm launching a new Shopify store that helps families never miss a birthday. Customers save the birthdays of everyone in their family, set a gift budget for each person, and get gift suggestions and reminders ahead of time. Many of our customers will be grandparents, so the site must be simple, with large text and buttons. I have a clickable prototype and a detailed feature list. I'll share them after you sign an NDA. What you'll build: •A family registry where customers save names, birthdays, addresses, interests and budgets, including adding people by voice
- Gift suggestions matched to age, interests and budget, with gift history so a gift is never repeated
- Birthday reminders by email and text through Klaviyo
- Monthly and yearly subscription plans
- Dropshipping app integration (Spocket, CJdropshipping, Printful) so orders go to suppliers automatically, with tracking and gift messages passed through
- A customer service chat with handoff to a person
- Strong data protection for customer and family information
You should have:
- Proven custom Shopify app experience. Please send links to apps or stores you've built.
- Experience with the Shopify Admin API, metaobjects, Klaviyo and dropshipping apps
- Clear communication and regular progress updates
Terms: hourly, with the work organized into milestones. An NDA and IP assignment are required before work begins. All accounts and code will belong to my company. Apply To This Job
